Job Details

Job Summary:
Performs computerized tomography (CT) scans and radiographic exams, producing diagnostic images of designated anatomical areas. Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts CT scans and radiographic examinations accurately following established protocols.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient concerns professionally.
• Maintains safety standards by adhering to radiation safety guidelines and ensuring radiation badges are up-to-date.
• Monitors and documents patient responses and procedural details in the electronic health record system.
• Participates in on-call rotations, providing emergency and routine imaging services as required.
• Ensures proper handling, usage, and maintenance of imaging equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Active radiologic technologist license and certification from ARRT (R) (CT) or SCRQSA (R) (CT).
• Minimum of one year of experience performing CT scans and radiography.
• Successfully completed an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina radiology license or demonstrate active license application.
• Ability to work weekend shifts, rotate on-call, and adhere to safety and procedural standards.
