Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. The candidate will support outpatient and inpatient services, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced nuclear medicine imaging exams in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radioactive materials, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
  • Operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure image quality meets clinical standards.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout the process.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient history, and radiation dosages.
  • Comply with all institutional, state, and federal regulations related to nuclear medicine practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in nuclear medicine imaging.
  • Proven proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and radiopharmaceutical handling.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
