Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to ICU patients requiring advanced monitoring and support, focusing on those with complex cardiac conditions such as LVAD and heart transplants. Ensures optimal patient outcomes through precise hemodynamic management.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor hemodynamic parameters using Swan-Ganz catheters for critically ill patients.
• Administer and manage advanced cardiac devices, including LVAD, IABP, and Impella.
• Assess patient condition continuously and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment strategies.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Educate patients and families about device management and recovery processes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with recent ICU experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Swan-Ganz catheter insertion and monitoring.
• Experience with cardiac assist devices such as LVAD, IABP, or Impella is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hemodynamic assessment and management.
• Ability to respond swiftly to patient needs in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
