Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care in the Emergency Department to a diverse patient population, ensuring high-quality treatment and patient safety. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver timely interventions and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority of care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including cardiac arrests and trauma cases.
• Maintain compliance with all accreditation, safety, and clinical standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license with all relevant licenses verified.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience, including Pediatric care.
• Document recent travel experience, with evidence in the resume.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC required to be on hand).
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills utilizing EPIC EMR software.
• Possess valid driver’s license matching address demographics.
