Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a Level 4 NICU or comparable PICU setting. This role involves managing advanced ventilators and airway devices while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, performing procedures such as ABGs, airway management, and ventilator management.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators including Hamilton and Servo models, as well as BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and other respiratory equipment.
• Assist with intubations and airway interventions, supporting the team while maintaining safety protocols.
• Perform intrahospital transports for critically ill patients requiring respiratory support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and procedure outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure quality patient care and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Require at least 2 years of experience working in a PICU or Level 4 NICU environment.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Prefer RRT credential, with CRT acceptable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced ventilation and respiratory therapies.
• Possess strong skills in airway management, patient assessment, and interprofessional communication.
• Able to assist with intubation but not required to perform independently.
