Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery setting to support mothers through childbirth. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and deliver evidence-based interventions throughout labor and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions to identify any signs of complications.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care practices.
• Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Advocate for patient needs and respond promptly to emergencies or changes in status.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with current state licensure.
• Proven experience in labor and delivery, maternity, or women’s health nursing.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong assessment skills and ability to handle high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
• BLS certification required.
