Job Summary:
Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort during assigned shifts. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive nursing services and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs according to clinical protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the Meditech charting system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate effectively with team members.
• Monitor patients with pacemakers, potassium levels, and other cardiac-related conditions.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement care plans accordingly.
• Float to other medical-surgical units within scope of practice when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; certifications can be obtained during placement if needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency with basic tele monitoring and patient monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends, with flexibility for float assignments.
• Maintain strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and patient assessment.
