Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and attentive Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality inpatient acute care. The ideal candidate will support patient needs through direct and indirect care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including hygienic and comfort measures such as bathing, oral hygiene, and skin care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (A.D.L) including mobility, feeding, dressing, and undressing.
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and measure and document Intake and Output accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests, relaying messages to nursing staff.
• Support admission, discharge, and transfer procedures, and handle patient belongings with care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by keeping patient rooms neat, managing equipment, and reporting changes in patient condition.

Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant within the state of Pennsylvania.
• Meet American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew every two years.
• Previous inpatient acute care experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform vital sign measurement and basic patient hygiene procedures.
