Job Summary:
The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for performing advanced computed tomography procedures, producing detailed sectional and 3D images for accurate diagnosis. The role involves collaborating with physicians, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate complex CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review and document patient clinical history and prepare protocols accordingly.
• Prepare, screen, and review contrast questionnaires with patients, administering contrast media as prescribed.
• Verify prescriptions and communicate with physicians to confirm or clarify exam details.
• Obtain outside studies, schedule in EPIC, and ensure reports and images are available in PACS.
• Educate patients about procedures, address concerns, and provide clear instructions to ensure cooperation and safety.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Possess NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning.
• Proficient in PACS and CT software/hardware systems.
• Achieve ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire.
