Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care within a skilled nursing facility, supporting residents' health and well-being across various units. The role involves collaborating with care teams to deliver quality services tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and assessments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor residents' conditions, document observations, and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and care planning to ensure seamless transitions.
• Educate residents and their families on health management and post-discharge care instructions.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and regulatory policies.
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and coverage requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
• Possess 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Exhibit proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Adaptability to shift schedules and ability to work collaboratively within a care team.
• Have an associate degree in Nursing or higher.
