Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Pacemaker Electrophysiology specializes in providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers and ICDs. This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Interrogate and troubleshoot cardiac implantable electronic devices, documenting patient responses and programming changes.
• Coordinate follow-up care and manage device monitoring to ensure device function and patient safety.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms, Holter monitors, event monitors, and Zio Patch administration and analysis.
• Assist in scheduling and supporting surgical or procedural interventions related to cardiac devices.
• Educate patients and families about device management, arrhythmia treatment, and electrophysiology procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Maintain an active Montana RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess at least one year of registered nursing experience.
• Credentialed with IBHRE in heart rhythm management.
• Experience managing cardiac implantable devices across major platforms (Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific).
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and ECG interpretation.
