Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to provide specialized nutritional care within a behavioral health day treatment program. The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patients' recovery and health.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients across diverse age groups including adolescents, adults, and seniors.
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition treatment plans tailored to individual diagnoses and needs.
• Provide meal support, nutrition education, and counseling to patients with eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional interventions into overall treatment.
• Document clinical interventions accurately and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RD or RDN certification from a recognized credentialing body.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in a behavioral health or outpatient nutrition setting.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of treating eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use conditions.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system is required.
• Able to travel and float to different units as needed, maintaining compliance with travel policies.
