Job Summary:

Responsible for performing mobile X-ray and EKG procedures in various healthcare facilities to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to capture diagnostic X-ray images.
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment to designated facilities for scheduled exams.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images as directed by physicians.
• Perform EKG procedures as needed and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of X-ray equipment and related vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to coordinate procedures and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT Certification and state licensure in applicable jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Proven experience in mobile X-ray and EKG procedures.
• Ability to lift and push/pull heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs or more.
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Willingness to adhere to vaccination requirements and health screening protocols.
