Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for operating room support. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist in surgical procedures across various specialties, including general, ortho, plastics, GI, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology.
• Proficiently utilize EPIC charting system to document patient care and procedural details.
• Maintain and demonstrate current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if pediatric cases are involved).
• Adhere to facility protocols, including vaccine requirements, fingerprinting, and documentation procedures.
• Participate in on-unit orientation and complete required virtual education before start date.
• Support pre- and post-operative patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years of perioperative experience.
• Proven proficiency in EPIC electronic charting system.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work in a surgery schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating room protocols, equipment, and procedures.
• Eligibility to work within the specified 50-mile travel radius with necessary compliance.
