Job Summary:
Experienced Med Surg RN needed to provide comprehensive care on a busy unit during night shifts. The role involves monitoring, assessing, and managing acute and chronic patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to therapies.
• Document patient information and care activities using Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ Med Surg experience.
• Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
• Possess basic telemonitoring skills; tele experience is a plus.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends, with flexibility for occasional float to other units within scope of practice.
