Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced GNA to provide quality care in a long-term care and rehabilitative setting. The candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities and supporting clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and assist with specimen collection.
• Support invasive procedures such as PICC line insertions under licensed staff supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, utilizing proper lifting and ambulation techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical observations.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and collaborate with healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland or Compact CNA license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent healthcare experience in a similar setting.
• Certification in BLS, AHA CPR.
• Proficient in vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, ADLs, and specimen collection.
• Ability to float within hospital units and adapt to various patient needs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of setting boundaries and maintaining trust.
