Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a leading regional hospital. The role involves providing high-quality critical care to pediatric patients in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Perform advanced procedures including IV starts, central line dressing changes, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Support float to Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU experience.
• CPR and PALS certifications required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Alaris pumps and pediatric critical care procedures.
• Ability to work scheduled weekends as per 6-week rotation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
