Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit, supporting obstetric and gynecological services. The role involves delivering high-quality care for women during labor and delivery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans for labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously during shifts.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist with childbirth procedures and provide post-delivery care to mothers and newborns.
• Educate patients and family members on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and breastfeeding.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid state credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency protocols.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and team environments.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
