Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring safe and efficient patient management during night shifts. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality clinical support aligned with facility standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical condition, promptly identifying any changes requiring intervention.
• Document patient progress and care activities comprehensively in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Float within scope to support various units or sister facilities as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility policies, including ACLS and BLS prerequisites.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid South Carolina license or Compact license prior to start date.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in stepdown or similar units.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Be able to work 12-hour night shifts and meet holiday rotation requirements.
• Be willing to float within scope and adhere to facility guidelines.
