Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients, assessing their functional status and developing individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate patient recovery and improve mobility and strength.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical function through formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimes based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Submit and update treatment plans, ensuring coordination with physicians and co-signing verbal orders as needed.
• Design treatment schedules, including frequency and duration, aligning with patient, family, and caregiver discussions and clinical support.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, treatment options, prognosis, and rationale for interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Physical Therapist License.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum one year of relevant physical therapy experience.
• Outpatient therapy experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, planning, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
