Job Summary:


Seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care across multiple units within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, team-oriented, and able to handle a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  
• Record vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report any changes to nursing staff.
  
• Support with clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and medication assistance.
  
• Participate in invasive procedures alongside licensed professionals and ensure patient safety during care activities.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient intake/output and assist with ambulation and transfer using equipment like Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
  
• Collaborate with team members to implement patient care plans and promote a positive, supportive environment.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Current and valid Maryland or Compact CNA license.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care or SNF settings.
  
• BLS, AHA CPR certifications required.
  
• Proven ability to perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection.
  
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and team members.
  
• Ability to participate in floating within units and adapt to varying patient needs.
