Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing technical support to physicians while ensuring patient comfort and safety. They are responsible for operating ultrasound equipment and maintaining quality standards throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety measures are followed.
• Capture and transfer imaging data to PACS and physicians' workstations.
• Assist in training new ultrasound staff and providing guidance on best practices.
• Schedule examinations, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient transportation as needed.
• Perform equipment maintenance and monitor supply levels to ensure readiness.

Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of administrative and clinical practices related to ultrasound.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion in clinical documentation.
