Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and skilled care on a 33-bed Med-Surg unit. The nurse will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population with various surgical and medical needs while maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and establish individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage telemetry for all monitored patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and institutional protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Meditech EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns to supervisors as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Ability to manage a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio effectively.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including every other weekend, with available block scheduling.
