Job Summary:
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Step-Down unit. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient status using telemetry equipment and update documentation accurately.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, or Step-Down units.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS; NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and adaptability to a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with Cerner or similar documentation systems.
• Charge nurse experience or willingness to develop leadership skills.
• Ability to float to other units within skill set as needed.
