Job Summary:

Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to monitor and support patients with cardiac and other critical conditions. Ensure patient safety through accurate assessment and timely intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously using telemetry equipment.
• Assess patient conditions regularly and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Respond promptly to abnormal heart rhythms or patient emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about their condition and care procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and update care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Prior experience in telemetry or cardiac step-down units preferred.
• Proficiency in interpreting ECGs and cardiac rhythms.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and every other weekend or holiday.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
