Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services to patients in the ICU, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver attentive, compassionate care for high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing procedures including central line, arterial line, lumbar puncture, chest tube, and EVD insertions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed to maintain stability.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in Meditech system.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care and respond to emergencies efficiently.
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit-specific guidelines to ensure quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Have ICU experience with relevant advanced procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and unit guidelines, including dress code and floating policy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
