Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Psychiatric care to join a dynamic adult psychiatric unit. The role involves providing compassionate mental health support and clinical assessments to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and safety monitoring for psychiatric patients.
• Perform admission and discharge procedures, ensuring comprehensive documentation of patient status.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations for suicidality, agitation, and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
• Utilize vital sign equipment and Electronic Medical Records (Meditech) accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to patient needs promptly, demonstrating de-escalation and behavioral management skills.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with psychiatric or behavioral health experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in mental health settings.
• Proven ability to de-escalate agitated patients and manage behavioral crises.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system and documentation protocols.
• Strong teamwork-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• CPI certification or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
