Job Summary:

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides immediate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced trauma and acute care environment. This role requires specialized skills in emergency medicine to support patient stabilization and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival to determine priority and level of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold current AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ED RN experience.
• Maintain valid TNS or TNCC certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in NIHSS assessment.
• Be able to start immediately and commit to scheduled shifts.
• Have experience working in a 30-bed emergency department with trauma and psychiatric beds.
