Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing acute patient conditions and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver urgent and comprehensive nursing care to ER patients with diverse medical needs.
• Assess patient conditions swiftly and accurately to prioritize care and interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes meticulously in electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State license in good standing at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent ER experience, ideally within a single facility.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required and active.
• Submit one recent reference from a supervisor, manager, or director within the past 12 months.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Be tobacco and nicotine-free, with recent drug screen results compliant with facility policy.
