Job Details

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic evaluation. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to support accurate patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment and other imaging modalities, such as radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate imaging care for patients across all age groups, from adolescence to geriatric.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review and interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately to designated locations.
• Maintain equipment through routine calibration and upkeep, and manage supply inventories efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards while maintaining accurate records, files, and billing data.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or relevant imaging discipline.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Possess valid radiologic technologist licensure in California or applicable state.
• Demonstrate certified proficiency in CT imaging, with additional certifications preferred.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Have a fluoroscopy license valid in the state of employment, if applicable.
