Job Summary:
Provides expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through precise interventions and monitoring. Supervises ancillary staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive critical care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing interventions to stabilize and treat critically ill patients.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, managing life-threatening emergencies with skill.
• Perform intravenous therapy, medication administration, and care of indwelling devices.
• Ensure accuracy of alarm settings and calibrations in coordination with monitor technicians.
• Assess patient condition continuously, responding promptly to clinical changes.
• Document patient status and interventions according to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Possess ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Complete a Critical Care Nursing course or have 6 months of critical care experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; associate degree required.
• Prior ICU experience preferred, with proficiency in multi-system patient management.
