Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Supervises perioperative nursing staff and collaborates with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' health status before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Develop individualized care plans tailored to surgical patients' needs.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities of the perioperative team to promote safe surgical environments.
• Implement sterile techniques and infection control protocols during operative procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and families about surgical processes, post-operative care, and recovery expectations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Proven experience in an acute care facility, especially in perioperative or operating room settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-ALS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
