Job Summary:


Provides comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients in a busy healthcare setting. Oversees nursing staff, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures optimal patient outcomes through skilled assessment and intervention.



Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately to ensure safe and effective care.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
  
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care strategies to meet individual needs.
  
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and preventive care.
  
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
  
• Demonstrate experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or maternal health nursing preferred.
  
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS and NRP certifications required or obtainable within a specified timeframe.
  
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively within a team and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
