Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological nursing care to patients, ensuring safe and effective delivery of healthcare services in a hospital or clinical setting. Supervises nursing staff, collaborates with healthcare colleagues, and promotes patient safety and education.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing assessment findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs and achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate and deliver nursing care in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient education and counseling on obstetric and gynecological health topics.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff, delegating duties appropriately and ensuring adherence to standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Demonstrate experience in obstetrics/gynecology or maternal health; preferred.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; required.
• Obtain and maintain ACLS certification; required.
• Hold specialized certifications such as NRP, STABLE, or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; required.
