Job Summary:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. They ensure patient safety, facilitate smooth surgical workflows, and support surgical teams throughout the operative process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients preoperatively to determine their medical history, allergies, and surgical readiness.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all sterile supplies and equipment are available and properly functioning.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative emergencies promptly.
• Document all patient care activities, surgical procedures, and postoperative instructions accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license in good standing.
• Have valid operating room or perioperative nursing certification.
• Demonstrate prior experience working in a surgical or perioperative environment.
• Possess strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical protocols, and patient monitoring.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
