Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to provide direct patient care in a critical access hospital setting. The nurse must be flexible to float between Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Med Surg units and deliver high-quality care to obstetric and medical-surgical patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to laboring women, new mothers, and neonatal patients.
• Float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Med Surg units as needed.
• Assist with nursery duties, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
• Complete documentation accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Labor & Delivery or similar setting.
• Current state RN license or valid compact license.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt to different units and patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
