Job Summary:

Providing expert emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. The role involves managing acute cases, performing critical procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity levels
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Perform procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, NG tube insertion, and assist with trauma and emergency interventions
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in Meditech system
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and post-discharge care instructions

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of emergency department experience
• Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and trauma patient care
• Possess a flexible, team-oriented, patient-centered approach
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions
• Experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems preferred
