Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in Telemetry provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment. They ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs to identify patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document patient care activities and observations accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families about heart conditions and post-discharge care.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and notify physicians as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
