Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and efficient bedside care to orthopedic patients in a busy hospital unit. Support nursing staff in maintaining patient safety, comfort, and hygiene during shift hours.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and report patient condition changes to nursing staff.
• Administer basic patient care tasks such as vital signs and specimen collection.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment according to unit protocols.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure proper documentation in EMR systems.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid NC CNA license required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital or Med-Surg experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to perform basic clinical procedures including Foley Catheter care and wound vac maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
