Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a high-volume emergency department, ensuring rapid assessment and efficient treatment of diverse medical conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately in the Cerner system and uphold compliance standards.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment adhering to hospital policies and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a Level 2 trauma or comprehensive stroke center.
• Demonstrate familiarity with GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and Cerner documentation systems.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required before start date.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including every other weekend.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and real-time coaching skills.
