Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The nurse will manage neuro-related diagnoses alongside telemetry patients, ensuring comprehensive clinical support and excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively monitor and assess patients with neurological and telemetry needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and protocols.
• Perform basic EKG testing and interpret results to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Support hospital unit needs by being flexible to float to other departments as required.
• Maintain compliance with all certification and training requirements prior to start.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of recent nursing experience in neurology and medical-surgical telemetry units.
• Hold a valid Maryland or Compact state RN license at the time of application.
• Demonstrate proficiency with basic EKG testing and interpretation.
• Successfully complete required NICHE certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Have current references and be able to support travel compliance standards.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday shifts.
