Job Summary:
The Mammo Tech is responsible for performing mammography imaging procedures to assist in breast cancer detection and diagnosis. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and deliver high-quality imaging results in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mammography equipment following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Perform equipment quality assurance and routine maintenance checks.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent credential).
• Specialized certification in Mammography preferred.
• Prior experience in breast imaging or mammography procedures.
• Knowledge of current imaging techniques and safety standards.
• Excellent patient communication and care skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
