Job Summary:
Performs nuclear medicine examinations, including on-call services, therapeutic procedures, and PET/CT imaging within a hospital-based, acute care setting. Responsible for ensuring quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results through specialized imaging techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and patient exams in accordance with physician orders.
• Perform quality control measures on imaging equipment and radioactive materials.
• Assist radiologists and medical staff during imaging procedures to ensure optimal results.
• Document all procedures, radiation doses, and relevant patient information accurately.
• Verify orders and ensure timely scheduling, reporting, and archiving of exams.
• Comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations for handling radioactive materials.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Allied Health Education program or equivalent.
• Hold ARRT certification in nuclear medicine or NMTCB accreditation.
• Obtain and maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate at least one year of post-graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (preferred).
• Exhibit strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Maintain current knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
