Job Summary:
Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients in an acute care hospital setting. Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans to promote healing and improve patient mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, mobilization, and therapeutic exercises.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly using the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and injury prevention.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain professional standards throughout all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a heavy caseload.
• Flexibility to rotate weekends and work the outlined schedule.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system preferred.
