Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) specializes in providing comprehensive care to patients on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. This role requires operating in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality patient care aligned with clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments securely and accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions in electronic health records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate them on post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent perm experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry.
• Complete and pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Provide two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date.
