Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity cath lab environment. Collaborate with interventional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and obtain relevant medical history prior to procedures.
• Prepare patients and sterile field for interventional cardiology, vascular, and radiology procedures.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics, respond to changes, and maintain hemodynamic stability during procedures.
• Document procedure details, patient responses, and vital signs accurately in the EMR system.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, and IABP insertions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab.
• Demonstrate competency in cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and diagnostic procedures.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Able to demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural support.
• Show excellent collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
