Job Summary:

Seeking a General Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic imaging services at a teaching hospital. The candidate will deliver high-quality ultrasound assessments in a fast-paced, hospital setting, supporting various departments including transplant services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abdominal, renal, and transplant ultrasounds in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for diagnostic accuracy.
• Float within scope to assist different hospital units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Hold ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of ultrasound experience in a large hospital setting.
• Proficient in abdominal Doppler imaging and transplant ultrasounds.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Will not accept first-time travelers unless from a large teaching facility.
