Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide exceptional perioperative care. The role involves delivering safe, effective nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and reporting any changes promptly.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with hospital standards.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with heavy ortho, urology, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries preferred.
• Ability to float to other facilities as needed.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
