Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy acute care environment. Ensure patient safety, deliver efficient treatments, and collaborate with medical staff for optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and continuously monitor their status.
• Administer medications, drips, and treatments following physician orders and protocols.
• Read and interpret cardiac strips and telemetry to inform treatment decisions.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including trauma and stroke cases.
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation and patient records management.
• Support sedation and ventilator management occasionally with RT assistance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and relevant certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate basic cardiology knowledge and experience with telemedicine skills.
• Be capable of working with a 1:4 nurse/patient ratio, often handling 1:5.
• Possess experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center or similar fast-paced ED setting.
• Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and potential holidays.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
