Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist is needed to provide specialized respiratory care within a critical access hospital setting. The role involves performing respiratory treatments, conducting various diagnostic tests, and educating patients and families about respiratory conditions and medications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer quality respiratory treatments and testing to patients across all age groups.
• Assist in developing discharge plans and provide patient education on respiratory diseases and medications.
• Operate and maintain different respiratory equipment with expertise.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures such as Pulmonary Function Tests, Stress Tests, and EKGs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Work independently in outpatient testing and inpatient care settings, including emergency departments.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Maintain licensure as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist in Montana.
• Possess current certifications in BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Have experience working with all age groups, including newborns.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
